Memorable Top 10 beards in NFL history

NFL players aren't generally associated with playoff beards, but these bearded fellows look to change that. They Grow beards as part of their general look and style in the game.

Logan Mankins
In a tragic turn of events, Mankins shaved this glorious
beard after the 2008 season. It will be missed.

Ricky Williams
A great beard, if what you’re going for is that
homeless bushwhacker sort of look.

Sam Baker
Oh, best beards. My bad.

Braylon Edwards
It takes a special kind of man to grow a beard that
combines the sophistication of Abe Lincoln with the majesty of King Tut.

Brett Keisel
Fun fact: Keisel’s beard acts as a year-round sanctuary
for several species of endangered egret.

Randy Moss
Moss’s patchy beard will earn no points for style, but it does
deserve kudos for nearly bringing two men to blows; when
former teammate Tom Brady told him he should shave it off,
Moss fired back that Brady should cut his girly hair.
Both men had valid points.

Dan Fouts
Dan Fouts was one truly stylish football player. Not only did he
rock this beard for his entire career, he also wore this exact outfit
under his pads for every game he played. A real class act.

Ben Roethlisberger
Roethlisberger can produce a pretty decent beard.
But when you’re the subject of sexual assault allegations,
it’s probably not the best look to be sporting.

Lyle Alzado
A proper picture of Alzado’s beard could not be found.
This is his five-o’clock shadow.

Ed Reed
Before becoming a pro football player, Reed spent his days
collecting bottles from dumpsters. Upon growing this beard,
he was immediately drafted into the NFL.
